2021
Twentieth company anniversary
Grau Elektronik celebrated its 20th anniversary in August 2021.
With innovative solutions, in many different electrotechnical applications for rail vehicles, Grau Elektronik has been successful in taking a leading position within a niche market.
Concerning the power range from 25 W up to 15 kW, we are supplier for customers and project on all five continents.
As a next step, the transformation into a digital and decarbonized age will be prepared and undertaken.2021
Development of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
USP are an essential part for many stable physical electrotechnical processes. In onboard networks, but also in the public supply grid, voltage failure will cause high subsequent costs or at least waiting times (for reset or system restart). Reliable UPS systems are dimensioned to avoid the expected failures and to enable trouble-free, continuous process flows.
2020/2021
Setup of an own winding room
For prototyping and serial manufacturing of transformers and chokes.
2019
Setup of a laboratory for partial vacuum casting
Electronics usually react very sensitively to humidity and conductive pollution. Wherever there are high requirements onboard vehicles, electronics must be protected. For realizing that, components or even complete devices will be equipped with a protective suit made of casting resin, in order to prevent water or conductive dust from entering.
Moreover, it may be necessary to fix the parts better for solidity reasons (requirements concerning vibration and shock).
We offer you innovative solutions to this issue.2017/2018
Extension of the mechanics department
Purchase of machines for bending/folding and of an additional CNC machine.
2013/2014
Construction of a new plant, own electronics manufacturing.
We offer application-optimized standard power supplies and customized solutions. Our technical developments guarantee highest customer satisfaction.
Grau Elektronik engineers have a long experience in power electronics, switch mode power supplies and converter technology. Detailed knowledge in the EMV sector ensures the quick realization from concept to production.
The location Karlsbad-Ittersbach houses development and electrical performance tests, sales and marketing. Meanwhile 30 experienced and motivated employees in development, CAD, construction and logistic departments provide solutions with very attractive price/performance ratio.
We realize solutions for customized power supplies in shortest time with all accompanying tests (temperature, EMV, vibration/shock). Close cooperation with the customers guarantees optimal solutions.
The company Grau Elektronik GmbH is certified to ISO 9001 Quality Standard. First audit took place already in January 2002 and is updated in annual distance. This means qualified working processes provide consistent high quality.2012
